Four local Catholic parishes sponsor our Vancouver St. Vincent de Paul Society Conference. Parish members donate clothing, household goods, food, toiletries and money to the Society directly through their individual churches. Over 95 volunteers from these parishes help in a variety of ways, including:
- visiting families requesting help with rent
- greeting clients at the Stapleton facility
- working in our food and clothing rooms
- gathering food from local grocery stores and the Clark County Food Bank
- growing and donating fresh vegetables and fruit from their parish gardens
