Carolyn Palmer - Executive Director

Carolyn has been an active member of St. Vincent de Paul Society since 2008, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Vancouver. In July 2016, she was hired as the executive director. Her passion to serve others, listen and adapt to changing daily situatons at SVdP is a top priority.

Sylvia Van  - Operations Manager

Sylvia started volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul in 2001. She was hired as a part time employee in February 2003 and became a full time employee in December 2004. Her dedication and experience to inspire clients and volunteers, shows daily as she serves others.  

Steve Kreklow - Afternoon Warehouse Lead

Steve started volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul in 2003. He was hired as a part time employee in 2015. His long history of hard work and dedication to the society is appreciated daily by clients, staff and volunteers. 

Philip Sobota - Morning Warehouse Lead   

Philip began volunteering in the Summer of 2014.  As a stay at home dad, he and his young family spent hours assisting our ministry each summer and during school breaks.  During COVID-19, Philip was able to provide more assistance and we are delighted he joined our team in November 2020!  His dedication to serve others, kind heart, and his long history of service is greatly appreciated by everyone. 

Dan Quitugua- Custodian

Dan is an active member of St. Vincent de Paul Society since 2015, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Vancouver. He was hired as a part time employee in September 2017 and maintains our clean facility.    

 

The Vancouver Conference has a 12 member board of directors that sets policy and oversees the business affairs of the conference.

Dick Lauer and Gary Wright, past Executive Directors, continue to volunteer and remain active with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
